This AWR Journal entry helps with sizing.
Peter is 6' 1" inch tall.
Slim.
And with a 40 inch chest.
Peter versus Peter.
As you scroll down.
The left hand image is Peter wearing an AWR Pause Jumper (high neck, no zip) in size Medium.
And in the right hand image, Peter is wearing an AWR Pause Jumper (high neck, no zip) in size Large.
Let's take a look at the differences.

Peter. 6'1". 40" chest. Left: Medium. Right: Large.
The arms are most noticeable. They 'ruck' a little with size Large. The body length is 2 inches longer in large. But Peter has the body pulled down on the Medium in this picture. So, if you can imagine this, the body of size Large can easily be pulled down by an extra couple of inches at least. The neck is the same on both. It all depends on how you like to wear your jumper.

Peter. 6'1". 40" chest. Left: Medium. Right: Large.
Size Large, on the right, is just that little bit 'fuller'.

Peter. 6'1". 40" chest. Left: Medium. Right: Large.
Ah! You can see the length difference here. Again size Medium (on the left) is that little bit more fitted. And whilst the rucking of the arms in size Large (on the right) is noticeable, it is worth noting that Peter hasn't rolled his sleeves up at all on either jumper. You, of course, could.

Peter. 6'1". 40" chest. Left: Medium. Right: Large.
Length, fit and arm length. All noticeably a little bit more generous on the Large (right) versus the Medium (left).
Notes.
Whilst neither of these jumpers look totally wrong on Peter, Peter would have chosen size Medium. That's his preference.
Keep in mind that all our jumpers are knitted in a 'poor boy rib' which is a really flexible hand knit that expands comfortably by up to 8 inches across the body area.
