Delivery, Returns, Refunds

1. Expect great support

Please note that Always Wear Red always, always wants to do the right thing.

We are long-term thinkers and we really do want to build a great Always Wear Red community that cares about people - and the planet.

As a consequence, we will always do our best to act in the very best interests of our customers.

3. Delivery (including Worldwide Shipping)

UK Delivery:

Delivery costs are calculated and added for your approval at the checkout.

Hand Knits (includes hand knitted prototypes and buy-backs)
Standard delivery (10 working days) FREE. There is no faster delivery option.
Pre-order pieces can take up to 6 weeks and are FREE also. Your Customer Care contact will keep you posted.

Early Years Sale, Care Products and Prints
Standard delivery (3-5 working days) is FREE.
Next day delivery (order by noon) is £20. Please note that next day delivery orders on any Friday before noon will actually arrive the following Monday (or Tuesday if the Monday is a Bank Holiday).

An email will be sent out to you with a tracking number and link so that you can follow your order journey home.

European Delivery:

Delivery costs are calculated and added for your approval at the checkout.

Hand Knits (includes hand knitted prototypes and buy-backs)
Standard delivery (10 working days) £20. There is no faster delivery option.
Pre-order pieces can take up to 6 weeks and are £20 also. Your Customer Care contact will keep you posted.

Early Years Sale, Care Products and Prints
Standard delivery (4-6 working days) is £15. There is no faster delivery option.

Standard delivery (5-7 working days) is £25. There is no faster delivery option.

The Small Print:

Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. We don't control those, sorry. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient and vary from country to country.

4. Returns

You can return anything and request a full refund within 30 days of purchase.

The piece must be back with us within 30 days of it getting to you.

Please email mychael@alwayswearred.com to let us know you'd like to return something and we will look after you one-on-one.

Our Postal Address is Always Wear Red HQ, 28 Trinity Courtyard, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE6 1TS.

If you return your purchase by post or courier after the period outlined above, whether in the UK or anywhere else in the world this is at your expense.

We reserve the right not to offer you a refund in full or at all outside of the returns period.

We may instead return your purchase to you.

Prior to sending it back to you, you will be charged (and must pay before your goods are returned to you) the return delivery fee applicable to the products and your location.

5. Refunds

Once we have received the product(s) and all its packaging, a refund will be credited to the payment card account within 2 to 3 weeks if all of the criteria outlined below is met.

Please note that it may take up to 14 days for your bank to credit your account.

We are not liable, and cannot take responsibility for, any bank charges that you may incur during the refund process.

Refunds or exchanges will be given with a completed returns form receipt, dispatch note or other proof of purchase.

Please take a good look at your purchase when you receive it.

Please note that whilst you are deciding whether to keep your purchases, you do have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods.

Therefore, please ensure you do not damage the items or the packaging.

If you wish to return anything it must come back to us in perfect condition for us to consider offering a refund.

Basically, we should receive it in a condition that you yourself would be happy to keep, if you were receiving it for the first time.

Here's a little guidance:

  • Please make sure that anything you return to us is in a condition that, should you have received it, you would be happy to keep it. In short, it must be resalable as perfect.
  • Please be very careful with deodorants, body sprays, perfumes and aftershaves leaving either a scent or stain on any items. Evidence of any of these things on the item may make a refund impossible.
  • All internal boxes packaging must please be included with any returns and in perfect condition.


Where you have failed to take reasonable care of the goods, whether whilst in your possession or when returning them, we reserve the right to refund you an amount of money less any amount due by way of compensation, to either repair the goods or to cover any loss, up to 100% of the total.

If you would like to return items that were bought via PayPal for a full refund, you will need to return them to Always Wear Red HQ, 28 Trinity Courtyard, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE6 1TS within 14 days of receiving your order.

6. Exchanges

You can exchange items (provided your return meets the terms of this policy).

It may however be easier to cancel one transaction and trigger another.

We will look after that for you.

Your statutory rights

Our refund policy does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty or damaged goods.
